Hiking – a  not so forgotten past time…

So, I accomplished a 6.6km hike today. Pure hiking, not bitumen tracks this time.

I thought that hiking was something that not many people do, these days – how wrong I was!

Not only couples but families with young children and hiking enthusiasts. The track today was pretty busy.

As someone who has not done a lot of hiking it was encouraging to see so many people of different ages and fitness levels all sharing in something.

The tracks at Glenrock are simply tranquil. Birds are chirping, streams are flowing and if you choose the right track you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach.

It is one of my new favourite places.

What’s not to like….
